Hey, I’m Brittany. I am the founder, formulator, and Integrative Health Practitioner specializing in Sierra Nevada Herbalism & Ecopsychological health, here at Inflorescent Apothecary & Wellness.

Inflorescent Apothecary was founded with the intention of helping people reconnect to the natural environment for health & beauty.

The living environment is the inspiration that guides our approach to mental health, wellness, beauty, and beyond~ here at Inflorescent Apothecary. Nature not only gives us life, but inspires us to nurture ourselves and remember our natural sense of belonging, resilience, adaptability, and strength~ through all of life’s cycles and changes.

Finding balance between our technological, fast-paced (unnatural) way of life, and slowing down back into the natural flow of things, has been a great source of healing for me, mentally and physically, I lived a large portion of my life in built environments and urban settings before I moved to the forest, and became an archaeologist and herbalist over a decade ago.

Working remotely as an archaeologist in the Sierra Nevada mountain range has offered me a unique lens back to a time when local Native Peoples (Monache, Yokut, Tubatulabal, Paiute, and Western Shoshone) lived in relationship with nature, and thrived. These histories happened right here where we live now.

My passion is working with the wild land on our 10 acre property, growing gardens of my own medicinal herbs, and studying western herbalism to help empower myself and others. You are an herbalist too! My goal is to provide people the resources and plants they need to reconnect and realign back towards the natural world for improved health and wellbeing.
